| | As a couple, discuss 1 Corinthians 13. Read the chapter together or individually, then focus your conversation on the passage below, discussing the questions that follow. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:3) • What is the most recent sacrifice you've made in our marriage? • How did you feel when you made the sacrifice? • What is the key to joyfully serving and sacrificing for others? Marriage requires sacrifice. Sometimes the sacrifices are small, like giving up your favorite television show. Other times they're life-altering, like taking a second job to pay for your spouse's medical bills. No matter the size, the sacrifice means nothing without love. But we can't muster up love on our own. We only have the ability to love others sacrificially when we're connected to the source of love, Jesus Christ (John 15:4). | | | | | To opt-out of this campaign you can unsubscribe here. | | | | |
